Accessing the News Agent:
  1. Switch Tabs: In the main Chat Tab, click on the “News AI” sub-tab.
  2. Initial Summary in Chat: When you first switch to the News AI chat tab, Otto displays a summary of the latest top news headlines.
  3. Explore Tab for Quick Insights: You can also find a “Latest News Summary” ticker in the Explore Tab for quick updates. The “Top Market Data” component in the Explore Tab also shows:
    • Crypto Market Movers: Top daily gainers and losers.
    • Yields: Top blue-chip stablecoin yields and top Pendle Prime yields.
How to Interact:
  1. Ask Questions: Type your questions about crypto news, market trends, or analysis into the chat input box.
  2. Send: Press Enter or click the send button.
  3. Get Answers: The News AI agent, powered by AI LLMs and informed by fetched news data, will provide a response.
Example Questions:
  • “What are the latest crypto market trends?”
  • “Summarize recent DeFi news”
  • “What’s happening with Bitcoin today?”
  • “Tell me more about the top news story.”
  • “What are the implications of the recent regulatory news?”
Important Notes:
  • The News AI uses data fetched from an external news endpoint and market data APIs (CoinGecko, DefiLlama). Its knowledge is based on this integrated data.
  • The AI can now provide more context-rich answers by correlating news with market movements and yield opportunities.
  • The AI will reference specific news items from its data when relevant.
  • If you ask about topics not covered in its current data, it should acknowledge this limitation.
  • The formatting aims to be readable, often using bullet points or numbered lists for summaries.
  • Like the DeFi agent, interactions are managed via an API route.
