- Connect Your Wallet: Ensure your wallet (standard or embedded) is connected to Otto.
- Open Account Summary: Click on your wallet address displayed in the header to open the Account Summary popover/dropdown.
- Access Funding Options: Locate and click the “Add Funds” button within the Account Summary. This will open a modal with available funding options.
- Banxa: Select Banxa to use their onramp service. You will follow their instructions within the modal, which typically involves selecting the cryptocurrency, entering the amount, choosing a payment method, and completing any KYC steps.
- Coinbase Onramp: Select Coinbase to use their onramp service.
- For Standard Wallet Users: You will be guided through the Coinbase Onramp process, potentially using the Coinbase FundCard interface for a streamlined experience.
- For Embedded Wallet Users: Please note that the direct Coinbase Onramp is not currently enabled for embedded wallet users. Embedded wallet users should use other available onramp options like Banxa.
- (Soon) Fund with External Wallet: An option to fund your Otto-connected wallet from another external wallet you own will be available.
- Choose Provider & Follow Steps: Once you select a provider in the “Add Funds” modal, follow the specific instructions provided by that service (e.g., Banxa, Coinbase). This typically involves:
- Selecting the cryptocurrency you wish to purchase.
- Entering the desired amount.
- Choosing a payment method (e.g., credit card, bank transfer).
- Completing any necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures directly with the onramp provider.
- Confirmation: After completing the purchase, the funds will be sent directly to your connected wallet address.
- Third-Party Services: Onramp services are provided by third parties (e.g., Banxa, Coinbase). Otto Wallet facilitates access but does not handle payment processing or the cryptocurrency purchase itself.
- Provider Availability: The availability of specific onramp providers, supported cryptocurrencies, and payment methods may vary based on your region and the provider’s terms and conditions.
