To interact with Otto’s DeFi features, you need to connect your Web3 wallet. Otto uses the Dynamic SDK to facilitate a seamless connection experience, whether you’re using a traditional browser wallet or opting for an embedded wallet.
Locate the Connect Button: Find the “Connect Wallet” button, typically located in the top right of the application’s header.
Click Connect: Clicking this button opens the wallet connection modal, powered by Dynamic.
Choose Your Wallet Provider: Select your preferred wallet provider from the list (e.g., MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect).
Approve Connection: Follow the prompts in your wallet to approve the connection to Otto Wallet.
Connected State: Once connected, the header will display your wallet address (often truncated) and provide options like viewing the full address, copying it, or viewing it on a block explorer.
Otto Wallet also offers a simplified onboarding experience through embedded wallets, ideal if you prefer not to manage a separate browser extension or mobile wallet.
Locate the Connect Button: As with standard wallets, click the “Connect Wallet” button.
Choose Embedded Option: In the Dynamic wallet connection modal, you will see options to create or log in using an email address, phone number, or social providers.
Follow Prompts: Dynamic will guide you through creating or accessing your embedded wallet. This wallet is securely managed by Dynamic’s infrastructure.
Connected State: Once set up, your embedded wallet will be connected, and your address will appear in the header.
